What you sign

One document carries your signature. The rest you accept when you sign in to the app.

1. Rental Agreement — signed digitally

The agreement you sign at move-in. It sets out who is renting, the space, the start date, the rate, and the deposit. Everything else — the standing legal terms, the facility policies, and how your information is handled — is incorporated into it by reference.

You sign it electronically in the tenant portal at rental.powered-storage.com. Nothing is printed and nothing is posted to you.

2. Terms and Conditions, Facility Policies and Privacy Policy — agreed in the app

You do not sign these separately. You accept them each time you sign in to the app — including any updated clauses of your agreement. This is the same approach used by the large technology companies whose apps you already use: the current version is presented at sign-in, and using the service accepts it.

The Terms and Conditions are the standing legal terms behind every rental. The Facility Policies cover access, pricing and day-to-day operation of the site. The Privacy Policy covers how your information is handled, kept and deleted.

One agreement, three names

Powered Storage is the business you are renting from. Wilmington Cold Storage and Work Containers are its sub-brands — different products on the same site, run by the same company, under the same rental agreement.

So if you found us as Wilmington Cold Storage or as Work Containers, the agreement you sign and the documents on this page are still the ones that apply to you. They are published here, on the Powered Storage site, because that is where they are canonical for all three.

Paying rent

Rent is due in advance. Card and automatic bank debit run through the tenant portal, and several other methods are accepted — some of them with no fee.

The current list of accepted payment methods, and any fees that go with them, is kept in one place: pay.powered-storage.com. It is the single source of truth for how to pay, and it is updated as methods and fees change.
